It is the most perfect combo of modern city and exotic desert, with feel-good yoga & pilates, special shopping & history tours, incredible eats, camel rides in the dunes and so much more!
First, we will spend time in Fes. Here we will explore Morocco’s oldest city. We stay in a boutique hotel where every stunning room is decorated in both modern and vintage design. We will visit the city’s highlights: the tannery and copper artisans. We will even take a day trip to Chefchaouen, the stunning blue city. Then, we head to the famous Sahara Desert for an unforgettable experience under the stars!
We will practice yoga on the dunes, enjoy champagne at sunset, camel rides and delicious meals. Then, we head to Marrakech for our final 3-nights in the heart of the medina. Our chic riad, after detailed renovations, resembles a building of the 19th century. Its nicely decorated spaces, with cool patios, clinking fountains and sunsets at the terrace makes it a perfect and stunning location for our special retreat. Get ready for some serious shopping, hammam or spa treatments and a fantastic Farewell Dinner together.

ACCOMMODATIONS + MEALS

We first begin our Moroccan holiday in Fes, the authentic heart of Morocco, and known as the country’s cultural and spiritual center. Our gorgeous riad is a 17th century palace located In the heart of the Medina. The beautiful rooms surround a colorful courtyard with fragrant orange trees. It features a grand terrace, pool and garden, plus a variety of spacious common areas. Each room and suite is incredibly comfortable and decorated with charming decor. The en suite baths are spacious, luxurious and with modern amenities. There is also a spa with a private, authentic hammam and glorious massages.

Then, we head to the Sahara Desert for magic and memories. We take an incredible and scenic drive through UNESCO sites and stunning towns in our own 4x4 vehicle with experienced, local drivers. It is a long drive, so we are stopping mid-way and staying the night at a special lodge in the Atlas Mountains. We will stay one evening in unique cave or tower rooms against the magnificent backdrop of the Atlas Mountains.
The next day we leave early and head to our magical camp in Erg Chicagaga, Sahara. Our luxurious and spacious tents include plush bedding, wall-to-wall rugs, solar powered lighting and hot water (and yes, bathrooms!) Although it is sunny and warm in the day, the nights cool off and we will be comfortable in our special deluxe accommodations. Here we will practice yoga either in the morning or afternoon (one for the books, that's for sure!) There is drumming and music at night and heavenly meals. For those who are more adventurous we can try sand boarding and there is even biking in the dunes. Or, you can just chill in the hammocks and enjoy this majestic location.

Finally, we head to the gorgeous (and sensory overload) city of Marrakech! The souks, the gardens, the shopping, the colors, this city is divine!
Our stunning riad in Marrakech is a design dream with spacious rooms filled with tiles, colorful rugs and some with private balconies or even a charming tea corner. Each room has a private bath en suite. We can enjoy a variety of common areas from the scenic terrace to the small indoor pool. There is a sunny patio and a rooftop terrace with umbrellas and sun beds. The location is just a 10-minute walk from the famous Jamaa El Fna Square. The traditional guest rooms are decorated with antique objects brought back from foreign countries. The baths are large (some with tubs) and have super plush towels. We will practice invigorating yoga once per day either on the sunny terrace or in the courtyard patio. The place will be JUST for us, so we can practice anywhere we wish! We will be here our last 3 nights.

MEALS
Each morning, we will indulge in a heavenly breakfast. In Fes and Marrakech, we will enjoy in a beautifully decorated dining room. In the Sahara, our breakfasts will be under beautiful, bright skies. Moroccan breakfasts are filled with fresh breads, fruits, eggs, yogurt, fresh juice, delicious pastries, jams, coffee and mint tea.
All dinners will be included on our retreat. Typical menus contain popular dishes such as tajine or couscous, soft cheese briouats, kefta with cilantro and lemon, pastillas and smooth garbanzo bean and eggplant creams. Carefully chosen spices, sauces and nuts provide the delicious final touch.
Moroccan cuisine is perfect for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
Alcoholic beverages are not included in Fes & Marrakech, but you can purchase on your own in some locations.
All breakfasts, lunches and dinners are included in the Sahara. Fresh bread is baked on site and we will enjoy all of the traditional flavors and dishes. Following dinner, we will enjoy music by the fire. Cold drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic are always available and included in the Sahara.
Lunch is also included on our drive to/from the Sahara.

YOGA/PILATES
We will enjoy invigorating vinyasa flow, core pilates or restorative/stretch from either the airy patio or on our private sunny terrace in Fes & Marrakech. We practice once per day depending on our schedule. In the Sahara, we will practice outdoors at our luxurious camp. We have a few gorgeous locations to choose from in the dunes and we have a back-up oasis, should we have a sandstorm. You will be inspired by this unbelievable location! Your host and instructor, Shari will guide you through daily strengthening and invigorating vinyasa and pilates core lessons in the morning or late afternoon. All of our holidays are open to all-levels, but some yoga experience is recommended if you wish to partake in the practice.

FES ACTIVITIES
• HISTORICAL TOUR: We are so thrilled to include a three-hour private historical tour. We will learn about the city’s rich history, architecture and explore the famous leather tannery & copper market (what Fes is most-known for). Our guide will lead us through the winding alleyways of Fes, revealing hidden corners of the medina and some of the city's best-kept shopping secrets.
• DAY-TRIP CHEFCHAOUEN: We'll journey to the enchanting city of Chefchaouen, known as Morocco's famous Blue Pearl, for a guided day trip. We will wander its dreamy blue-washed streets and alleyways, admire the jaw-dropping views and discover the history, culture, and charm that make this mountain town one of Morocco's most beloved destinations.

SAHARA ACTIVITIES
• CAMEL RIDES: We’ll explore the breathtaking Sahara Desert on camel, soaking in the magic of endless dunes and golden horizons.
• VISIT NOMADIC FAMILY: We'll spend time with a welcoming nomadic family, learn about their traditional way of life and watch as they bake bread in the sand using time-honored techniques passed down through generations.

MARRAKECH ACTIVITIES
CITY & SHOPPING TOUR: Our private guide will take us on a special tour filled with magical shops and boutiques. We will shop for everything from art to rugs, lamps to leather poufs and culinary delights such as local spices.
You might need an extra suitcase!
OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS/ACTIVITIES: In Marrakech, you can visit Majorelle Gardens or head to a local spa for a traditional Hammam.
In the Sahara, you can ask about quad bikes or go on a guided hike through the dunes.

TRANSPORTATION/TRAVEL INFO:

We will provide taxi service for pick-up from Fes (FEZ) airport on arrival day. Please arrange arrivals by 5pm (our first activity is Welcome Dinner and Orientation). Transport via taxi to Marrakech airport (RAK) on departure day is included. Our riad will help arrange all transportation needs upon check-out.
