Manta Beach Resort
Nestled on a lush hillside overlooking the Indian Ocean, the resort's beautifully appointed rooms offer privacy and refreshing sea breezes. Designed for comfort and relaxation, each room features a minibar, in-room safe, ceiling fans, outdoor showers, mosquito nets and private terraces furnished with comfortable sun loungers.

The resort provides everything needed for an idyllic Indian Ocean escape after our amazing Uganda adventure! There is a fully equipped dive centre that offers access to some of East Africa's most spectacular underwater environments, where vibrant coral reefs, dramatic drop-offs and abundant marine life create world-class diving experiences. We will have access to snorkelling equipment allowing for exploration of the crystal-clear waters at their leisure.

For those seeking additional adventure, a range of water sports is available, including kayaking and windsurfing.
To complete the magical experience, the resort's spa offers a selection of rejuvenating treatments inspired by the island's rich spice heritage, using specially formulated blends of locally sourced spices and natural ingredients to promote relaxation and wellbeing.

Pemba Island Meals
Our stay includes full-board dining, showcasing the island's rich culinary traditions and fresh local ingredients. Each day begins with a nourishing breakfast following our morning yoga session, featuring freshly brewed coffee, tropical fruits, fresh juices, eggs, locally baked breads, pancakes and a selection of homemade pastries and sweet treats.
Lunch and dinner highlight the flavours of the Indian Ocean, with menus featuring freshly caught seafood, premium beef and chicken dishes, as well as creative vegetarian and vegan options. Many dishes are infused with the distinctive spices and culinary influences that make Pemba's cuisine so unique.
Meals are typically served on the ocean-view terrace, allowing guests to dine while enjoying the island's stunning surroundings. To create a variety of memorable dining experiences, selected meals may also be served beside the pool or directly on the beach, offering a beautiful change of scenery and an unforgettable atmosphere.

YOGA & WELLNESS - UGANDA & PEMBA

Once per day (or when available) we will practice yoga or meditation in a variety of amazing locations. Imagine a morning practice under a thatched roof with uninterrupted views of the nature reserve. Or, an afternoon session on a wooden deck overlooking the groves of Mopane trees. This will be the most wonderful and unforgettable yoga experience in nature. Your host, Shari will guide you through a vinyasa flow and meditation as well as restorative sessions as needed. As always, Shari will listen to what the group needs and adjust accordingly for the best yoga experience! No experience needed. ALL YOGA SESSIONS ARE OPTIONAL

Oct 25-26
Upon our arrival at Entebbe International Airport, we will be met by our representative for a private transfer to the elegant No. 5 Boutique Hotel (or equivalent property). Nestled in a quiet, leafy suburb, this boutique stay offers a serene sanctuary to relax after our international travels on a bed and breakfast basis. We can spend the afternoon lounging by the pool or enjoying a quiet dinner in the garden, allowing time to adjust to the pace of Africa before our safari adventure begins

Oct 26-29
Following breakfast, a private transfer will take us to Ishasha Lodge for a glorious, three-night stay. The lodge offers uninterrupted views across the savannah plains, Lake Edward, and the dramatic Virunga and Rwenzori mountain ranges. During our time here, we will explore the plains on guided game drives in search of lions and leopards, enjoy a private boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel to see immense pods of hippos and elephants, and trek for chimpanzees in the dramatic, "sunken forest" of the Kyambura Gorge.

Oct 29-Nov 1
We will be transferred back to Kasese Airfield for our flight to Kihihi, where we will be met by a driver for the transfer to Erebero Hills. Our three-night stay at this luxurious lodge is on the edge of the ancient Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with breathtaking views of the forest canopy. This is where our incredible Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi takes place. This journey into the dense, emerald rainforest alongside expert rangers culminates in a profound encounter with a habituated gorilla family in their natural habitat.

Nov 1-2
Following magical time in the forest, we will all transfer back to Kihihi for our flight to Entebbe International Airport. For those headed home, you will take your flight from Entebbe. For those continuing on to Pemba, we will a catch our flight from Entebbe to Zanzibar (this flight is not included, but we will help book)

OPTIONAL EXTENSION - Pemba Island Nov 2-5, 2027★
Nov 2
We depart Zanzibar for a quick flight to Pemba Island. We will be transfered to our idyllic, island resort in the afternoon. We can enjoy some time on the beach before a sunset cocktail and dinner. All meals & drinks are included at our resort in Pemba.

Nov 3
Let’s enjoy yoga by the pool. We can scuba dive or snorkel and indulge in spa treatments.
Optional nature walks and other activities.

Nov 4
Yoga & pilates in the morning. Today we will experience a beautiful seafood lunch on a secluded sand bar surrounded by turquoise waters.
We can scuba dive or snorkel and indulge in spa treatments.

Nov 5
We head back to the Pemba Airport for a flight to Zanzibar. For those wishing to stay one more night, we can help arrange accommodations, meals, activities in Zanzibar.

TRANSPORTATION/TRAVEL INFO:
Transportation pick-up from Entebbe International Airport- EBB (Oct 25). Our representatives will meet us in the arrival hall of the airport and take us via private transfer to our first accommodations together. The recommended flight will be sent to all guests so we may all arrive together. For those opting out of the extension, you will depart from Entebbe Airport on
Nov 1.

NOTE: you can still choose to fly to Zanzibar with those moving on with the extension and fly out of Zanzibar.
The flight from Entebbe to Zanzibar is NOT included
For those on the extension, we will depart from Zanzibar (ZNZ) Airport on Nov 5 to fly home
