NAMIBIA (VARIOUS LOCATIONS) • NOV 8-16, 2025
Sole Dream Holidays is overjoyed for our new & exciting retreat, Wellness & Wildlife, Nov 8-16, 2025 in one of our most cherished places—Namibia. This promises to be an unforgettable journey through two of Namibia’s jaw-dropping locations, Damaraland and Etosha National Park. Get ready to practice yoga and meditation with stunning landscapes, from vast deserts to vibrant nature reserves as our backdrops!

Imagine evening meditation under golden Namibian sunsets, tracking desert-adapted elephants and visiting the magnificent Himba Tribe.

DESTINATIONS & ACTIVITY HIGHLIGHTS
GREATER WINDHOEK: Windhoek, translated from the Afrikaans language to “Wind Corner,” is Namibia’s capital and largest city. Hosea Kutako International and Eros Airports service the city and, together with Namibia’s excellent road network, provide easy access to most of the country, although distances can be vast. Positioned centrally, Windhoek links important coastal towns to the country's hub and is connected by well maintained national roads to South Africa and Botswana. We will be here our first and last evenings as it close to the international airport.
DAMARALAND: This vast desert landscape is known as one of the most beautiful regions in Namibia. We will take in the dramatic vistas, catch a glimpse of the rare desert-adapted elephant, and enjoy spectacular stargazing in crystal-clear night skies. Our guides will take us on a scenic drive via ephemeral river systems in search of desert-adapted elephants. The wildlife roams large tracks of unfenced desert landscapes and we will be guided through this untouched gem of Namibia. A highlight includes the opportunity to go on a totally exclusive excursion to track for the elusive black rhino that inhabit this area.
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK: Etosha is a national park in northwestern Namibia and one of the largest national parks in Africa. Abundant wildlife includes lion, leopard, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, gemsbok, springbok, red hartebeest, eland, wildebeest, zebra, the rare black faced impala, and hundreds of other species. Our luxury lodge has become a model of safe and responsible ecotourism. We will experience exciting guided game drives from the vantage point of specially modified, air conditioned 4x4s with pop top roofs.

Nov 9-12
Time to experience the breathtaking landscapes of Damaraland over three unforgettable nights. Here we will enjoy beautiful yoga sessions in the fresh air. Plus, sundowners by the fire and delicious meals. We will embark on exciting rhino tracking adventures, searching for one of Africa's rare free-roaming black rhino populations. We will also look for elusive desert elephants in the ephemeral river systems, enjoying a picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery. We can immerse ourselves in the wild beauty of this untouched gem of Namibia.
Nov 12-15
Our final location is to the thrilling Etosha National Park. During our two full days at Ongava Lodge, we will engage in exhilarating game viewing within Etosha National Park. Each day begins with an early morning safari, where our knowledgeable guides will help us spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and rhinos, as you traverse the diverse landscapes of the park. We will practice a beautiful yoga session in nature in the early afternoon.
Nov 15-16
We depart and return back to Windhoek. The road takes you south through Namibia’s central highlands and commercial farmlands, offering scenic views along the way. We arrive in Windhoek for our last evening together at a wonderful and popular restaurant in town. We are back at the same luxury hotel for another comfortable stay.
